Why does my pug like Santa Claus hats?

The first Christmas we had with our pug, I was wearing a santa claus hat and he pulled it off my head and cuddled with it, treated it like his baby, licked it, and brought it with him everywhere. Ever since then he has loved santa claus hats. We don’t find anything incorrect with it, we just want to know why he likes this hat do much?

Can I put Sun Screen lotion on a new born baby?

Baby has just been born few days ago! And I have not got myself a excellent stroller yet. I do how ever have a baby carrier. But its so hot out and I don’t want the sun to hit in the babies skin.
Could I place baby sun tan lotion on him? And place on a hat after?

What is the price of designer ‘Von Dutch’ baby clothes?

I have a Von Dutch denim dress and hat set which I received as a gift for my baby girl.It is a size 3 to 6 months and new without tags.I was thinking I will sell it on ebay may be.But don’t have any thought how much it may sell for.
I mean it’s not possible to guess what the final price will be.But just wanted to have a rough thought,so that i can place an initial price.Any suggestions?

Why do baby announcements HAVE to be so cutesy?

Am I the only person who is annoyed by all the cutesy, kitschy thoughts that go along with pregnancy? For example, when a couple wants to announce to their family or the world that they are pregnant, for some reason they can’t just say “We are pregnant.” They have to order cute surprise t-shirts or elaborate gifts or buy matching grandma and grandpa hats and just wait for them to comment or…. serve the husband a dinner of booties and something referencing baby to “surprise” him. I dont know why this annoys me so much, but I just wonder why people cant just say “Yay! We’re pregnant! Isn’t it wonderful!?” Isnt that enough? Your family will be pleased no matter what pretty pink fluffy thing you surprise them with.

Now I now someone is going to probably lecture me about how horrible I am for not feelin’ the cuteness vibe. I am TTC, have miscarried etc, but I dont know, Ive never been a cute, matchy-matchy, “let’s all wear a baby-on-board tee” kinda girl. Is that so terribly incorrect of me?
a) To Starz, you’re way off base here. I AM ttc. I have miscarried before. And if i fell pregnant, I would be DELIRIOUS! But the difference is cute is not my style. I dont place my friends down if they plot something like that. I smile and go along with it. But that doesnt mean I know it. To me, whenever I found out I was pregnant, I couldnt wait to tell anyone and was over at our parent’s house in 5 minutes to share the news. But thats just me.

How can I make sure that my baby daughter stays warm enough?

I have an eight-month-ancient daughter….tonight we have someplace we have to be but it’s 0 degrees F outside with a windchill of about -15. I am of course going to bundle her up and the only time she’ll really be outside is going to and from the car. I don’t want her to get overheated, though, b/c she is “hot-natured.” We have one of those fleece carseat liners that zips up around her, and I tuck a blanket in as well, and she will wear a winter hat, but is this enough? She’ll be wearing tights underneath her pants, as well as two long-sleeved shirts. Will she be warm enough?? I know the question may sound stupid but we just went to NH 2 yrs ago and I’m still trying to get used to dealing with the bitter cold here, and it’s a whole new ballgame with a baby. Thx.

What are some small things that i can question for at my baby shower.. that people really never reckon about asking for? Like the small things you realize you need after the baby shower is said and done! lol..Ive had people question me what i really needed and i dont really know besides diapers && bottles && baby wipes.. because i have everything HUGE like the carseat and stroller and stuff like that! What does a winter baby needs?

My baby is due this early Dec and I was wondering what all she’ll need besides hats, mittens, and booties. I have some thick blankets but I’m unsure about them. What all do I need to get her for when she is awake and asleep to make sure she is warm but not too warm, doesn’t get sick or a fever, and will be comfortable.
